All our gold-plated jewellery features 925 Sterling Silver as the base metal, with micron gold plating applied for durability and lustre. We offer four plating thicknesses to suit different wear patterns and budgets: 1 Micron for minimal-wear pieces like earrings and pendants; 2 Microns for necklaces and occasional-wear rings; 2.5 Microns (Gold Vermeil) for everyday durability; and 3 Microns for high-quality daily wear. Longevity depends on your lifestyle and care habits—remove jewellery during hands-on activities, wipe with a soft cloth after wear, and store properly. Thicker plating commands a higher price but offers superior wear resistance.
